TNA's India schedule, World Title Series ups ratings, ROH viewership falls

Is TNA’s stock on the rise?

– TNA has been facing dark days recently. They had many stars quit and head down to WWE or other promotions. There have also been network issues where a deal has not been signed yet. It was also reported that the current network, Destination America was not happy with TNA for taking a decision to tape shoes in UK and India. It is not quite sure yet if Destination America would renew their deal with TNA.

The TNA World Title Series currently entered its third week. This may have possibly caused some excitement in the fans. It was seen that TNA’s viewership marginally rose from last week’s numbers. This week's numbers rose to 264000 from the 242000 viewers last week.

The replay show was down with its viewership and amassed 63000 viewers as opposed to the 85000 last week. All in all, the total viewership remained same as last week at 327000. This will come as a positive news for TNA who are really undergoing a crisis right now.

– It seems that all the wrestling shows are currently facing viewership issues. With the numbers spiralling downwards, it is a huge problem for companies such as Ting of Honor, TNA and even the WWE. Ring of Honor, which is aired on destination America significantly went down in viewership. Last week, Ring Of Honor drew numbers close to 174000 while this week it fell down to 132000.

Wrestling companies facing falling viewership issues might directly correspond to the start of the football season.

– As reported earlier, TNA is scheduled to tape its shows in India. Due to the problems faced by TNA, they have turned to India and its huge untapped market. TNA who have an Indian wrestler on the roster, namely Mahabali Shera, has been given a massive push prior to this India tour.

Shera also featured in a video which TNA managed to push to viral status. TNA is coming to India from December 2nd to December 4th. They will be touring the country starting 2nd December and will hold a live taping in Mumbai on December 4th which will be the final show. This is titled as ‘One Night Only; Mumbai’. TNA cancelled their Halloween special in New Orleans to go forward with this show in Mumbai. They also cancelled their Gulf tour once they chose to tape in India.
