If Andre The Giant's 1987 Survivor Series team wasn't the greatest collection of heels ever assembled, his 1988 Survivor Series team almost certainly was. Featuring four future WWE Hall of Famers, Jake "The Snake" Roberts' team simply had no chance to win, especially with two Hall of Fame managers (Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Jimmy Hart) offering their creative services outside of the ring.
Rude got things started by pinning Ken Patera, after hitting a devastating Rude Awakening. Then Dino Bravo pinned the forgettable Scott Casey. Tito Santana pinned an aging Harley Race, before quickly being pinned by Andre The Giant. After Hacksaw Jim Duggan used his patented 2x4 on Dino Bravo, he was disqualified. Roberts hit Rude with a DDT and eliminated him. Andre came into the ring and applied a devastating chokehold on Roberts; but, when he refused to release the potentially deadly maneuver, he was disqualified in the process. Before leaving the ring, Andre hit Roberts with a devastating head butt and Mr. Perfect took advantage to give Andre's team the win.
