#7 Roman Reigns

The biggest shock of 2018 came when Roman Reigns revealed his health condition and that he had to take a step back from wrestling due to his Leukemia. The Big Dog relinquished the Universal Title and left the WWE Universe in sorrow.
Roman would've surely been on a much higher position in this list had he been in the best of health but keeping all those things aside, the Big Dog had a tremendous year as he reunited with his shield brothers, main evented WrestleMania for yet another time and finally won the Universal Title from Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.
Roman's rivalry with Brock had been on and off and it seemed like Brock had Roman's number due to his dominant history over the Big Dog but Roman beat all odds to win the Universal Title.
The year will also be remembered for Roman's historic bout with John Cena which was more a passing the torch moment between two faces. Roman did get the better of Cena which indicated the company's plan for the future but sadly Roman's leukemia resurfaced and the Big Dog had to bid adieu to the company for the time being.
