Having been involved in four Elimination Chamber matches, Edge always promised to bring in something unique and exciting with him. He was the x-factor that a stipulation like this desperately needed after the exits of Goldberg, Shawn Micheals, and Batista from the company as full-timers.

He already had a reputation of being a fearless and edgy character due to his matches with The Dudley Boyz and Mick Foley, and he lived up to that expectation when he won the World Heavyweight Championship in 2008 after losing the WWE Championship on the same night.

That vicious heel move cemented Edge as a dangerous top guy and people still talk about it as their favorite Elimination Chamber moment. He even replicated that performance by winning the match at 2011's Elimination Chamber as a babyface, where he entered at number 1 and went the whole way to book his spot in WrestleMania 27.
