One of the best parts of a Royal Rumble match is a surprise entry. The entry of John Cena in 2008 edition and Edge in 2010 edition of Royal Rumble were few of the most cherished moments in Royal Rumble history. However, in 2017 Royal Rumble there weren't any surprise entrant till number 29. Thus the WWE universe expected the 30th entrant to be a huge surprise - probably a debuting Samoa Joe, or some legends making a return. However, as the countdown hit zero, Roman Reigns' entrance song hit the arena - causing the entire crowd to get angry and boo the guy.
