Officially regarded as the beginning of the Attitude Era, WrestleMania XIV is remembered only for the last two matches on the card. On one hand, the warring Brothers of Destruction were finally writing the first in-ring chapter in their long, dark saga and on the other side, Steve Austin was finally making his long-due ascent to the top of the WWE ladder. The dumpster match for the tag titles, however, is not that fondly remembered by the fans even though it was a perfect example of WWE's tag matches during that era.

A feud that began with The New Age Outlaws dumping Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie into a dumpster and then throwing Cactus Jack off the stage had to end in a memorable fashion at the Grandest stage of them all.

Famous for their hardcore style, Jack and Charlie were exceptionally complimented by The Outlaws, who constantly bashed the two brawlers with weapons. Jack and Gunn were knocked off a ladder into the dumpster and Charlie took a powerbomb into the dumpster. As the action moved backstage, Charlie used a fork-lift to dump The Outlaws into a dumpster backstage as Jack and Charlie finally captured the Tag Titles.
