The fact that this is the second match between this trio of teams to feature on this list is enough evidence that they were the greatest teams in the history of WWE. One year after their impressive ladder match, the three teams were again facing each other. Having ripped their bodies apart in the first ever Tables, Ladders and Chairs match at Summerslam 2000, it was time for the three teams to finally wrap up this series of matches with a final showdown at the biggest event in the history of WWE and what better way to do this than a rematch to their Summerslam encounter - A TLC Match.

Slotted on the card after the Father-Son street fight, these team brought the house down in Houston with their impeccable performance. The interference from Spike Dudley, Rhyno and Lita, each of whom hit their finishing moves, added more excitement to the match. Tables were broken, chairs were bent as the three teams put on a slobber knocker for almost 15 minutes. The last sequence saw a series of memorable moments as Jeff hit a Swanton Bomb through tables on Spike and Rhyno and Edge hit a spectacular spear off the ladder on to a hanging Jeff.

With Bubba and Matt on the top of the ladder, Rhyno knocked the ladder down, sending both through a pair of tables, allowing Edge and Christian to win the match for the second straight year. On a night which had Austin v Rock II and Shane v Vince, it was this group of young superstars who stole the show with the greatest TLC match in the history of WWE.
