No matter how many time fans chant, we want Punk, or CM Punk, in an arena, the man is simply never coming back to the squared circle. Punk, who walked out on WWE after being unhappy with the creative direction the company was going in, has made it clear in interviews, twitter posts and through friends that he would never be returning.
With that being said and the fact that CM Punk no longer exists in the mind of WWE officials, or at least they only do when the company wants to take a shot at him, it makes no sense to continue to chant his name. It achieves absolutely nothing and worse then that, it is disrespectful to the people that are actually in the ring tearing it up for your entertainment!
