RAW superstar Sheamus recently spoke to Ryan Satin on his podcast Out of Character. He revealed that people backstage were not stocked when he won his first WWE Championship in 2009. Sheamus became WWE Champion just three months after making his debut on RAW by beating John Cena.

Sheamus revealed that people backstage were not happy with his win. He said he got immense heat backstage, further adding that getting heat backstage means that you are doing your job right.

''There was a lot of people who were p****d off with the situation that happened. A lot of guys had been there for years and never had that opportunity. The fact that when I won [laughs], the heat! The heat! So much heat, mate, so much heat. So much heat I thought I was going to get sunburnt in the backstage area,'' said Sheamus.

Though Sheamus' immediate push did not sit well with some people, The Celtic Warrior has proven himself to be an asset for WWE over the years. He has held the WWE Championship on multiple occasions and is currently the United States Champion on RAW.

#4 Vince McMahon blamed for former RAW Superstar Bray Wyatt's release

Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell spoke to SportsKeeda about the release of former RAW superstar Bray Wyatt. Mantell said that Wyatt was not released because of his booking on RAW, but rather it was backstage politics that cost the former WWE champion his job in WWE.

"You can't blame the booking. You gotta blame Vince," Mantell said. "It's politics. Something happened in there along the way that Bray Wyatt, as himself and Bray Wyatt as the Fiend or whatever - he just didn't have their trust. Whether that is warranted or not, he didn't have it."

He further stated that Wyatt should consider himself lucky that he had a job with WWE for 12 years and even after being released he has a landing place in AEW.

#3 RAW superstar Jinder Mahal ready for a match against Brock Lesnar

Sportskeeda's Riju Dasgupta caught up with RAW Superstar Jinder Mahal. The Modern Day Maharaja talked about his desire to face Brock Lesnar in a first-time ever match. The two men were set to face each other at Survivor Series 2017, but AJ Styles replaced Mahal as Lesnar's opponent last-minute.

"Yeah, absolutely [still wants to face Brock Lesnar]," Mahal said. "I was very much looking forward to the match with Brock Lesnar. Unfortunately, I lost the WWE Championship in the meantime, but I think someday that match with Brock Lesnar still could happen."

Mahal also said he wants Brock Lesnar to make his WWE return soon. The Maharaja feels that The Beast Incarnate's return is imminent and long overdue.

There has been a lot of backlash ever since WWE released former RAW superstar Bray Wyatt. This week on RAW, fans made their voices heard as there were loud ''We want Wyatt" chants during Alexa Bliss' match on RAW.

Former WWE champion Bray Wyatt liked a Twitter post pointing out fans' desire for Wyatt's return.

Before being released, Wyatt was last seen involved in an angle with Alexa Bliss. After being under his wing in the lead up to WrestleMania 37, she turned on Wyatt and had cost him his match against Randy Orton at WrestleMania.

There have been reports saying Vince McMahon is looking to completely rebrand NXT. This means that many of the current NXT superstars will likely get a call-up on RAW or SmackDown.

As per Cageside seats via PWI, apart from NXT superstars being part of the main event tapings ahead of RAW, some NXT stars were present backstage on RAW as well.

NXT wrestlers Aliyah, Dakota Kai, Odyssey Jones and Austin Theory wrestled on last night’s Main Event taping before Raw. PW Insider says Xia Li and Riddick Moss were also backstage at the show in Orlando.

It will be interesting to see which of these NXT superstars will get called up to RAW or SmackDown. Riddick Moss is a former 24/7 champion and could be making his RAW return soon considering he was present backstage at the show.
