#4 Jinder Mahal to return with a new faction on RAW?

Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal has been missing from RAW for quite a while. The Modern Day Maharaja reportedly returned at the WWE Main Event taping this week. Mahal was accompanied by Indus Sher and Dilsher Shanky. He went on to beat WWE icon, Jeff Hardy.

Mahal debuting his new faction on Main Event could mean this was an experimental idea executed by WWE. But judging by how much buzz it has created online, rumors are afloat that The Maharaja and his team will soon be appearing on Monday Night RAW.

Indus Sher is a former NXT Superstar, whereas Dilsher Shanky is an upcoming star from India who was featured on the WWE Superstar Spectacle event.

Former WWE writer Kazeem Famuyide recently revealed on his podcast that WWE had planned for Braun Strowman to beat Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel in 2018.

In fact, the creative team wrote the entire script for Strowman as the new Universal Champion. However, they re-wrote everything as a last-minute call was made and Brock Lesnar won the vacant title instead:

"So, Brock and Braun were supposed to fight for the world title and we had a whole Monday Night RAW written with Braun Strowman as champion," Famuyide said. "Then sike, Brock Lesnar wins and then as soon as Brock wins, we all had to go back into the office, rewrite the whole show.''

Famuyide added that at the time, he wasn't even aware WWE could change such a major decision at the last minute.
