Now that Roman Reigns has gotten rid of his nemesis, Daniel Bryan, it is time for a new SmackDown superstar to step up and challenge The Tribal Chief. That superstar is going to be none other than Daniel Bryan's close friend Cesaro.

As per Cageside Seats, the former eight-time champion in WWE, Cesaro, will get his shot at the Universal Championship against Roman Reigns during WrestleMania Backlash.

"Speaking of Reigns, a Universal title match against Cesaro is expected for the upcoming WrestleMania Backlash show."

While it is unlikely that Cesaro will walk out of the pay-per-view as the new Universal Champion, a long program with Reigns could solidify him as a main-event superstar on SmackDown.

#3 Daniel Bryan's future after leaving SmackDown

There has been a lot of buzz surrounding Daniel Bryan's future now that he is no longer a part of SmackDown. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter has stated that there is a high chance Bryan could be heading to NXT soon.

Dutch Mantell believes Daniel Bryan could be used on both RAW and NXT moving forward. Speaking on Sportskeeda's Smack Talk, the veteran said that RAW needs someone like Daniel Bryan right now.

''I think their most pressing need is to get that RAW number back up and the best person to help them get it back up is Daniel Bryan," Mantell said. "So I think if he went anywhere, he would go to RAW. But he could go to RAW and also work in NXT at the same time."
