LA Knight is all set for the 2025 Men's Money in the Bank Premium Live Event on June 7. The Megastar punched his ticket to MITB by defeating Aleister Black and Shinsuke Nakamura in a Triple Threat Match on the May 23, 2025, episode of SmackDown.

LA Knight has revealed that his eyes are on the Undisputed WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship. The former two-time United States Champion has never held a World title in WWE, but winning the contract could get him to the gold. This was seen on Instagram, where he shared an edited photo of himself grabbing the briefcase and holding both titles. You can see the post here.

However, LA Knight might be replaced at the last minute in the Men's MITB match after what might unfold tonight on WWE SmackDown. A post on Twitter has claimed that there will be a match between Knight and Aleister Black on the blue brand tonight.

If the match does take place, the Dutch Destroyer might take out Knight and replace him at the Premium Live Event. While this angle might sound promising, the match isn't officially confirmed by WWE in the preview for tonight's SmackDown. It remains a speculation until we see what unfolds during the show.

LA Knight could turn heel after being removed from the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

The constant losses suffered by LA Knight have left fans with the opinion that he has reached a plateau. This has reduced his chances of being a dominant name in WWE.

Furthermore, his United States Championship reigns were underwhelming for many fans. Despite having a kayfabe beef with Logan Paul and Shinsuke Nakamura and losing the title to Jacob Fatu later on at Night 1 of WrestleMania 41, the 42-year-old has remained a babyface.

On May 23, Knight defeated Aleister Black and Shinsuke Nakamura in a triple-threat match, securing his place at the Men's MITB. The PLE coming up on June 7 will feature the Megastar with Solo Sikoa, Seth Rollins, Penta, Andrade, and El Grande Americano contending for the contract.

Aleister Black claims LA Knight stole his victory in the MITB qualification match. If the speculated match between Black and Knight happens on tonight's episode of SmackDown, the 40-year-old might take Knight out and replace him at the coming show.

Knight might turn heel after not being featured in the high-stakes contest. His heel turn could create a better storyline that fans would want to see. This could increase his momentum as a dominant name in WWE. However, this remains speculation, and nothing has been confirmed yet.
