Soon after, ‘We Want Truth’ chants erupted on RAW and SmackDown as well, with fans in disbelief at the massive announcement. However, the audience was left stunned when Truth made his return in a hoodie to unleash an assault on John Cena at Money in the Bank.

The legend took the Franchise Player down and received an unbelievable pop, helping Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso pick up the win against Cena and Logan Paul in the tag team match. Now that Truth is back, fans have been wondering if Triple H would bring 46-year-old Carlito back to the company as well.

Carlito, shortly after Truth announced his release, shocked the world by announcing his own exit from the company. Carlito’s exit was not only a disappointment for fans but also a huge blow for the Judgment Day.

Now that Truth’s back, there have been speculations that the legend might also make an appearance soon. However, it doesn't seem too likely. R-Truth’s return may have been a response to fan backlash. Carlito couldn’t receive such a reaction because the WWE Universe was much more surprised by Truth’s announcement. This is the reason fans might not see Carlito return to WWE.

R-Truth’s return to WWE is accompanied by a major change

Former United States Champion R-Truth shocked the world with his return to the company at Money in the Bank. However, his comeback included a massive change. Truth's on-screen name has been changed to Ron Killings, and he will be addressed by this name moving forward.

Fans have been wondering the reason for the name change, which was cleared by a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer. The reports claimed that Truth himself requested his name change, possibly to get the name popular in the industry such that he could use it in the future if his deal with the Stamford-based company runs out.

"Ron Killings did ask for the name change to his real name as part of his new deal as many had suspected. The advantage is that when the new deal ends he will have had TV time as Ron Killings and can then go straight to using that name on indies and for personal appearances." [H/T: f4wonline.com]

While Truth might not have many years of in-ring action left, he has clearly attained a massive position in the industry. Fans will now have to wait and see what WWE has in store for the legend.
