After the blockbuster 2024 Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, WWE is set to host the final main roster PLE of the year, Survivor Series 2024. Fan expectations are quite high for the event. The latest episode of SmackDown saw the reunion of the original Bloodline, and the Stamford-based company has seemingly confirmed the Men's WarGames Match this year will be the Bloodline war continuing in Canada.
However, another match for the Survivor Series PLE is seemingly at risk since Rhea Ripley is out of action after sustaining a real-life injury. According to rumors, The Nightmare was all set to enter into the Women's WarGames Match with her squad against Liv Morgan and company. Unfortunately, the unexpected injury has wrecked all the major plans, and the company has been actively looking for alternatives.
On the latest episode of RAW, the Stamford-based company hosted a women’s battle royal to determine Morgan’s challenger. IYO SKY emerged as the winner. However, tensions also escalated between the teams of Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, and Liv & Raquel Rodriguez. The WWE Women’s World Champion was also gunning to capture the Women’s Tag Team Title that she and Raquel had held in the past.
Amid this, Triple H might bring back the forgotten traditional five-on-five Survivor Series Elimination Match where team Bianca Belair can take on team Liv Morgan in the match. It could be a perfect replacement for the Women’s WarGames match this year in case plans for the match didn't work out.
Liv Morgan made history ahead of WWE Survivor Series 2024
2024 has been a banner year for Liv Morgan. She has ridden a massive wave of success throughout the year and many feel she hasn't reached her peak yet. Ahead of Survivor Series 2024, The Miracle Kid locked horns with the WWE Women’s Champion, Nia Jax, in the champion vs. champion bout at Crown Jewel 2024. In the high-stakes match, the winner was to be crowned as the inaugural Women's Crown Jewel Champion.
Despite being the underdog, Liv Morgan overcame all odds and managed to secure a big win against Nia Jax, and became a double champion. She also etched her name in history books as the first-ever Women’s Crown Jewel Title holder.
It seems like Morgan’s journey to the top has just kicked off. Tracking her career and seeing how long she can keep the Women’s World Championship around her waist will be entertaining for the WWE Universe.
