Amid this, there is a possibility that Triple H might cancel WWE legend Goldberg's impending retirement match following the recent updates. For those unaware, Da Man is set to compete in his final bout in the squared circle this year.

The veteran's opponent has not been confirmed yet, but there is a chance that he might compete in his final match at this year's Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia. Recently, Goldberg was engaged in a conversation on the CarCast podcast.

During the conversation, the Hall of Famer revealed the problems he is facing while preparing for his final match at the age of 58. He further disclosed that he has already suffered multiple injuries in this process. Currently, Goldberg is being trained at the Muay Thai gym.

"I hurt myself a couple of times in the past three months, umm, but I've pulled back and it's really tough to have the mentality I do but to have the body that I do now and with the mileage on it and then go into the Muay Thai gym and hit the pads and not go crazy and then blow a shoulder out and blow your biceps out and, you know, pull your hamstring from throwing a high kick. It's just, there's a huge balance and I've been in the ring a couple of times, I'll be getting in the ring today, and it's just tough, man. It is tough."

So, with Goldberg suffering multiple serious injuries, Triple H may rethink the retirement match and might cancel it, citing genuine injury concerns. If the 58-year-old star competes in his final bout with all these injuries, there is a high chance that he will not be able to deliver his 100% performance. He may even suffer more serious injuries.

Although this article is based on assumptions, it is surely a possibility, given the toughness Goldberg is getting in preparation for his final match.

What if Triple H plans Goldberg's return to WWE RAW tonight?

The Triple H era is heading towards Night of Champions 2025. This raises the chances of Goldberg making his return in WWE RAW tonight. If this scenario unfolds, the veteran may turn during the World Heavyweight Championship match between Jey Uso and Gunther.

For those unaware, the YEET Master is set to defend his World Title against the Imperium leader on RAW after MITB. If Triple H plans the return of the iconic star, he may return and attack Gunther either during the bout or in the post-match.

We have already seen an altercation between Gunther and Goldberg last year at Bad Blood, which hints at their showdown in the promotion. Additionally, this angle could set up a bout between them for Night of Champions, which will mark the retirement match for the legendary star.
