WWE's main event picture on the men's side has creatively gone through a hard reset over the past weekend, with a new Mr. Money in the Bank in Seth Rollins, a new World Heavyweight Champion in Gunther, and the beginning of the King of the Ring Tournament. Additionally, the Road to WWE Night of Champions: Riyadh shockingly involves CM Punk, who is on a collision course with Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena.
This means that The Best in The World is out of the "Seth Rollins vortex" for a little while at least, with the ongoing landscape of faction warfare on Monday Night RAW set to be put on pause or altered dramatically. Enter the sentimental favorite in the recent Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match who failed to win the coveted briefcase for the third time in a row: LA Knight (YEAH!). It looks like Triple H has subtly moved the fan favorite from SmackDown to RAW.
The Megastar was a victim of Seth Rollins' allies, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, on SmackDown last week, as well as at Money in the Bank. However, with a rather soft brand split in force, he got his revenge as he cost Breakker the King of the Ring Fatal Four-Way qualifier on RAW this week. However, given his unwelcome involvement in Rollins' business, the favor might be repaid during his own KOTR match on SmackDown this week.
Both Seth Rollins and LA Knight now have a bone to pick with one another. In fact, it has been heavily rumored that a feud between The Visionary and The Megastar is in the works. This serves as a golden opportunity for Triple H to finally have LA Knight interact with more fresh opponents and allies over on RAW, given his rather stale booking on SmackDown.
He has stars such as Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, CM Punk, and more to engage with as an uneasy ally. Why uneasy? Well, Knight's ego writes hefty checks. Luckily for him, he's got a body of work that can cash them in. Speaking of cash-ins, though, Seth Rollins would be a great first-time feud for the former United States Champion and could elevate him further.
He'll also have Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman lurking. There is no shortage of upper midcard to main event heels on WWE RAW, with Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and Rusev also around.
LA Knight can finally win "the big one" in WWE once he makes the jump to RAW
If LA Knight impresses on RAW, which, given his track record, seems quite likely, Triple H may finally consider him a serious contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. A potential feud with reigning World Heavyweight Champion Gunther could be a spicy one indeed.
In fact, with the input of Netflix executives quite prominent in the WWE Superstars they want on RAW (CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Roman Reigns, and more), Knight, with his charismatic, if somewhat brash, personality, could really stand out on Monday nights and even open up avenues for himself to Hollywood roles and mainstream success.
It will be interesting to see what The Game has in store for The Megastar in the coming weeks.
