Earlier today, it was announced that six-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and Impact Wrestling co-founder would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame alongside Goldberg, The Dudley Boyz, and Ivory.Well, needless to say, the announcement sent Twitter into a frenzy! NBC Sports broke the news before WWE confirmed shortly after - then came the reaction to the controversial announcement from WWE Superstars, various wrestling promotions, and even a certain Hollywood actor!BREAKING: As first reported by @NBCSports, @RealJeffJarrett will be inducted into the #WWEHOF Class of 2018! https://t.co/30BwDTVo4J— WWE (@WWE) February 19, 2018Triple H was quick off the mark to acknowledge Double J's induction, even seemingly acknowledging his work with Impact Wrestling, if indirectly.Born into this business, @RealJeffJarrett not only led a decorated career, but created opportunities for new talent around the world. For those wondering, I would induct him if he asked me to, but that would be a sign WWE was about to go out of business or move to Canada, so I'll just watch from home.— Jim Cornette (@TheJimCornette) February 19, 2018The Tennessee Titans even tweeted their support.Congratulations to our good friend Jeff Jarrett (@RealJeffJarrett) on becoming the newest member of @WWE 2018 Hall of Fame Class 🏆💪🏽 pic.twitter.com/9uO4mKWVuH— Tennessee Titans (@Titans) February 19, 2018But perhaps the most surprising thanks of all came from a certain former WCW Champion...Congrats Champ! https://t.co/4HuRNq319J— David Arquette (@DavidArquette) February 19, 2018Needless to say, while Jeff Jarrett may have been a very surprising and controversial choice, the wrestling world's reaction shows just how much respect and support Double J has. It's great to see, and hopefully, this also continues to bridge a relationship between WWE and Impact Wrestling. Something that may have seemed very unlikely last year, but with Dixie Carter appearing on a WWE Network special and Matt Hardy burying the hatchet with Ed Norholm... Well, stranger things have happened- and Jarrett's HOF induction may be one of them!
