Earlier today, WWE officially confirmed that starting from September 18th, 2019, NXT will officially be moving to the USA Network and the show will transition into a two-hour-long show and will be broadcasted live.WWE took to their official website and confirmed the move via a press release. Below is an excerpt:NEW YORK and STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE and USA Network today announced an agreement in principle to air WWE’s weekly Wednesday night show, NXT, live on USA Network at 8/7 C starting Sept. 18.Following NXT’s growth in popularity, the new two-hour weekly show will expand its reach on USA Network, the leader in cable entertainment, while staying in its Wednesday night timeslot that it has held since 2015.One of the primary reasons why NXT will be telecasted live on Wednesday nights is due to All Elite Wrestling starting their weekly episodic shows on Wednesdays on TNT, as well. With NXT officially moving to the USA Network, several top WWE superstars from the present-day roster have taken to social media, including the likes of John Cena, AJ Styles, and former notable NXT Champions have all reacted to the groundbreaking news.A long step away from “developmental system down in Florida.” From the first #NXTArRIVAL on @WWENetwork to a weekly television show on @USA_Network.
