The post-Survivor Series episode of WWE NXT started with the roster of the Black-and-Gold coming out to the ringside area to celebrate with the fans. The party was short-lived as The Undisputed Era interrupted. Keith Lee, Dominik Dijakovic, Matt Riddle and Tommaso Ciampa stood up to the champions of NXT and it led to an appearance from Finn Balor. The confrontation set up the main event of the night, Finn Balor vs Tommaso Ciampa. The former WWE Universal Champion went on to win the battle due to some shenanigans of Adam Cole but post-match, laid out the NXT Champion as well.
Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish defended the NXT Tag Team Championship against Lee and Dijakovic in the first match of the night. Mid-match, Roderick Strong replaced Fish as he had suffered an injury during the contest. After a hard-fought battle, the Champions would retain owing to an outside distraction from Adam Cole. The NXT Cruiserweight Championship was also defended on the show and Lio Rush successfully retained the gold against Akira Tozawa.
Mansoor, who is famous for his performances on the events in Saudi Arabia, was part of this week's edition of NXT. He faced Shane Thorne and after a back-and-forth matchup, emerged as the victor. In another interesting contest, Xia Li defeated Vanessa Borne to continue her momentum on the Black-and-Gold brand.
Candice LeRae sought retribution for the assault on Tegan Nox as she collided with Dakota Kai on NXT. Kai, who is showcasing a new side of her character, debuted a new theme song on the latest episode. The two went on a battle but Kai took the cheap way out by attacking LeRae with a knee-brace. It looks to be seen what awaits this new version of Dakota Kai and how the female roster reacts to the sudden change.
Another major highlight of tonight's NXT featured the face-off between Rhea Ripley and the NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler. Following the confrontation, it appears that The Queen of Spades has a new challenger for her title.
