In an interview with ESPN, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross disclosed the story of McMahon's first meeting with Lesnar:
"When Vince saw him (Brock Lesnar) he had the damnedest man crush in like 10 seconds on earth. He said, ‘damn. He looks like a Viking."
Ross stated that McMahon was "amazed at the athletic specimen that Brock Lesnar was and is".
Lesnar rapidly climbed the ladder of success and became WWE Champion five months after his debut. To capture his first WWE title, Lesnar defeated The Rock, one of WWE's greatest legends.

Brock Lesnar is now an eight-time world champion. He wrestled his last match in WWE at WrestleMania 36 where he lost his WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre. He became a freelancer as of August 31st, 2020.
