#2. Fewer part-timers on big PPVs

This year's Summerslam boasted of only 2 big names- Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey. Ronda has been appearing regularly on RAW, which takes the tally of part-timers at Summerslam all the way to ONE. That's it. Seems difficult to believe, but this year almost no part-timers showed up, which is a great thing.

Summerslam was considered a great success even without part-timers. This could give the WWE confidence to include fewer part-timers for bringing more eyes to the product. This, in turn, could provide more opportunities for the hard-working superstars who often get snubbed or get shunned into multi-man matches.
