On the day of Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, WWE announced the return of the previously discontinued pay-per-view, Bad Blood. In a promotional video, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes along with American music label producer, Metro Boomin, announced the event would be returning for the first time in 20 years.

This announcement by the Stamford-based promotion made many fans nostalgic and also raised questions about what happened during the previous edition of Bad Blood two decades ago. The last edition of the PPV was held in 2004, the Stamford-based company's CCO Triple H faced Shawn Michaels in a Hell in a Cell Match in the main event.

It's interesting to note that all editions of Bad Blood that have happened thus far have featured a Hell in a Cell Match as the headliner. Hence, the WWE Universe can expect the same to happen this year as well. A potential Hell in a Cell match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre would undoubtedly be a blockbuster collision.

WWE CCO and Creative Head Triple H reacts to Bad Blood being announced for October

If there is anyone who has fond memories of Bad Blood, it has to be Triple H. After all, The Game defeated Shawn Michaels in the main event of the pay-per-view event in 2004. This match won by HHH lasted 47:26 minutes and was highly rated.
