The Man, Becky Lynch has risen to the top of not just SmackDown Live but WWE as a whole. She's the one Superstar everyone is talking about and people look forward to seeing the most on the blue brand. When she lost her SmackDown Women's Championship to Asuka at TLC, many fans knew this was because she will win the women's Royal Rumble match and challenge the reigning Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey for her title on the main event of WrestleMania 35.
Becky's feud with Ronda was possibly the best feud in 2018 and fans were eagerly anticipating her champion vs champion match with Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series. Many people, including myself, were looking forward to this match until the 'Irresistible Force' Nia Jax ruined everything.
It was probably a good thing that the match didn't happen so that it can take place at a bigger stage like WrestleMania and possible headline the show of shows, and that too, with a title on the line. For this to happen, Becky had to lose her SD Live title last year so that she could win the women's Rumble match and face Rousey, but there's one big possibility things might not go that way.
Becky Lynch is currently scheduled to face Asuka for the SD Women's Championship at the Royal Rumble and if she loses, she could show up in the Rumble match but if she wins, we will not see her face Rousey at the Grandest Stage of Them All. #3 Charlotte Flair will win the women's Royal Rumble match
Charlotte Flair is the favourite to win the women's Royal Rumble match. She's one of the most decorated female superstars in WWE history. She is a seven-time women's champion. Winning the Rumble match will be another great accomplishment in her career.
Who else is a better option? Charlotte has whatever it takes to win the match and she would do anything to remain the last women standing in the ring. Last year she entered the Royal Rumble PPV as the champion, and this year she could leave as the Royal Rumble winner.
If there's anyone who can win the match it's her. Her father has done it, she can do it too. WWE always has something big for her at WrestleMania so by winning the Rumble match, she gets to pick either the Raw or Smackdown Women's Champion and challenge them to a match at 'Mania, where she will obviously be victorious. #2 Charlotte defeats Ronda Rousey to become new Raw Women's Champion
Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey still have unfinished business. Charlotte nearly beat up Ronda all the way back to the UFC with a kendo stick at Survivor Series and Rousey cost her a chance at becoming the SmackDown Women's Champion at TLC. Both of them aren't finished with each other yet. Sadly, if this happens then Becky won't be involved in the picture.
It's no secret that WWE wanted 'The Queen' to face 'The Baddest Woman on the Planet' at WrestleMania 35. If that match happens, Flair will award Ronda with her first loss in WWE and take with her the Raw Women's Championship. Charlotte is no stranger to ending an undefeated streak. This will be just another day at the office for her.
A lot of fans wanted to see Flair and Rousey at WM35 but because of Nia Jax, WWE was forced to change their plans and the match happened earlier at Survivor Series. Despite it ended in a disqualification, it was still a pretty good match and we wanted to see more.
The fact that neither Rousey or Flair got pinned or submitted, it still leaves room for another match between these two where there will be a clear winner and probably a new champion too. They are both WWE's biggest female superstars so a platform like 'Mania is the perfect place to put out the flames.
#1 Becky Lynch vs Nia Jax at WrestleMania 35
This is not hard to believe, because Nia Jax is responsible for breaking Becky's face, so The Man should get her revenge by facing Nia at WrestleMania. Who else do you think is a more worthy opponent for Becky? Sure, Nia is not the greatest option but she's the only other Superstar who has a beef with Becky and a great feud could develop between the two.
Even though they are both on different brands, it won't be the first time we will witness an Interbrand match at WrestleMania. Nia Jax is a big part of the Raw women's division so she has to be involved in something big at WrestleMania. Last year, she defeated Alexa Bliss to win the Raw Women's Championship and this year she could defeat Beck Lynch to win the Smackdown Women's Championship.
There's no way Becky would let Nia Jax break her face and cost her a match with Ronda Rousey then let Nia get away with it. Nia still brags about how she broke Becky's face, so obviously, The Man will want to shut her up for good and there's no other greater place to do that other than WrestleMania. I say Becky will retain her title and Nia Jax will remain on Raw.
