What if Brock Lesnar interferes in Seth Rollins-AJ Styles MITB match to set up a triple-threat?

This would be a thrilling match!

Seth Rollins won the Universal Championship by slaying the Beast Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35's opening match, much to the delight of the WWE Universe who wanted to get rid of the part-time champion. Brock Lesnar has been absent from WWE programming ever since his embarrassing loss at the Show of Shows last month.

AJ Styles recently won a mini-tournament to become the #1 contender for Rollins' Universal Championship. WWE has announced that these two will clash in what is a dream match for many at the upcoming Money in the Bank PPV for the Universal Championship.

Now, it looks certain that their match at MITB would be the first match of their feud as WWE won't end such a massive feud with just one match. I don't really see either one of them taking a clean pin, the match has to end in a no contest, DQ, or a win by unfair means.

What if a certain Beast Incarnate interferes in the match to cause a DQ and set-up a triple threat between the three of them?

The History

Brock Lesnar has had feuds with both of these individuals in the past. His first encounter with Seth Rollins was in the main event of WrestleMania 31 when The Kingslayer cashed-in his MITB contract and won the WWE Championship. As mentioned above, Rollins took the Universal Championship from Lesnar at WrestleMania 35. Interestingly, Rollins low-blowed him before hitting a couple of Curb Stomps on him. The way Rollins won, Lesnar would surely want revenge.

As for AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar, the two clashed at Survivor Series a couple of years ago when Styles was the WWE Champion and Lesnar was the Universal Champion. In one of the better matches of Brock's career, AJ took him to the limit and just fell short of slaying the Beast.

The Triple-Threat feud

Imagine this scenario. Seth and AJ are having an epic encounter at the MITB and we are near the end of the match. Both of them have hit each other with their best moves and are lying in the ring exhausted. Suddenly, Brock Lesnar's music hits, and out comes the Beast. He picks them up one by one and delivers F5s, thereby causing DQ.

Paul Heyman can then take the mic and tell everyone how Rollins couldn't beat his client fair and hence used a low-blow to pick up a cheap victory at WrestleMania 35.

Next night on RAW, Rollins could come out pissed, and call Lesnar out for a rematch then and there. Styles could then stake his claim at Rollins' title, pointing out how he never had a fair chance.

The feud could progress from here and lead to a triple-threat match at the Saudi Arabia event scheduled for 7th June 2019. With Brock Lesnar already announced for the event, WWE might as well take this route.

We all know how well Lesnar works with small guys. So if he gets to wrestle two of the best wrestlers in the world in a triple-threat match, the result would be thrilling.
