What injury did Dominik Mysterio suffer? Exploring his recovery time

Dominik Mysterio has picked up an injury and was last seen on the latest episode of the red brand, sporting a cast. While it was revealed that he would be sidelined for a while, details regarding the injury were not provided by the company initially.

According to recent reports from WON, Dominik Mysterio has suffered an ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) injury to his left elbow. Such an injury is caused by repeated stress from overhead movement and is commonly seen among sportspersons. Depending on the severity of a UCL injury, surgery could be required in some cases.

Amidst rumors of Mysterio undergoing a Tommy Johns surgery, the WWE Superstar just posted a gif on his social media and said he will not be undergoing any surgery.

The recovery time for such an injury depends on the requirement of surgery. However, in Mysterio's case, fans can expect to see him appear on WWE television frequently and perhaps even return to the ring soon. A huge relief for both WWE and The Judgment Day.

With Dirty Dom now out of action for the immediate future, it will be interesting to see how storylines surrounding the faction unfold. The absence of both Mysterio and Rhea Ripley will certainly hurt them and only time will tell what is in store for all involved.

Dominik Mysterio may find himself embroiled in a storyline with Liv Morgan

Dominik Mysterio may not be seen wrestling in the squared circle anytime soon, however, he still seems heavily involved with The Judgment Day.

In the last episode of Monday night RAW, he shared an intriguing moment backstage with Liv Morgan. No words were spoken between the two but it'll be interesting to see what the Stamford-based promotion has planned for Mysterio and Morgan.

As part of her "Revenge Tour", Morgan made it clear that she plans on taking away everything from Rhea Ripley. With that in mind, she has already taken away months of her wrestling career, and more importantly, forced her to vacate the Women's World Championship by injuring her.

And now, from the looks of it, she may have her eyes on Dom Dom.

This certainly is an interesting new development that could end in several different ways. The WWE Universe will be glued to the screen every week on RAW, to see what goes down between Dirty Dom and Morgan.
