Who was behind Roman Reigns promos?, Ambrose - Orton feud, update on Lesnar returning early

Vince McMahon reportedly the brain behind the Reigns promos that bombed

- The Roman Reigns promos heading upto the Hell-in-a-Cell PPV, the ones that garnered ridicule and criticism in abundance for the young Superstar, are said to have come from Vince McMahon himself. The promos were very unbecoming of Reigns and he got heat from both fans and people backstage.

The reasoning behind the promos was Vince’s belief that if Roman went out on a limb in front of the WWE Universe, people would have sympathy for him. However, because they were his ideas and they bombed, Vince couldn’t blame anyone else on the creative.

- Reportedly, a long feud between ‘The Lunatic Fringe’ Dean Ambrose and ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton was in the works, before Orton went down with a shoulder injury. It is unclear if the WWE intends to go ahead with the plans once Orton returns.

Another feud that had the backing of the WWE craetive was the Cesaro – Stardust one, but judging by the happenings on TV the past couple of weeks, the feud may have just become an afterthought.

- The sagging fortunes involving the WWE ratings may have forced WWE to bring itself to rely on its trump card sooner – ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar is being advertised by The Forum near Los Angeles for the December 19th WWE live event, which would be WWE’s first event at that venue in over 20 years. Another major name advertised for the show is John Cena.

While there has not been any official communication from the WWE on Cena & Lesnar appearing, the ads have been put out by The Forum’s social media. The appearance by Lesnar is also bein confirmed by online reports, linking it to be a part of the new deal between lesnar & WWE.

With all the big names advertised in the line-up, this card is set to be a big one and could form the next WWE Live event special, to be telecast on the WWE network. Further reports are awaited.
