Why Daniel Bryan shouldn't have left the Wyatt Family

Daniel-Bryan-10

Around three weeks ago when Daniel Bryan finally chose to join the Wyatt Family, everybody expected him to remain a part of the group for at least a month, but Bryan couldn’t stick to his bad boy image for more than two weeks as he decided to turn on his teammates (Bray Wyatt specifically) this past Monday on Raw. People enjoyed watching Bryan beat the creepiness out of Bray Wyatt as they chanted Yes! as loud as they could, that moment was definitely a memorable one, but soon people realized that it would have been better if Bryan remained a member of the Wyatt Family a little longer.

Bryan betrayed too soon

Just before Bryan’s betrayal this storyline was actually looking more exciting and fans were wondering what the Wyatt Family will do next with Bryan, as they started to lose matches after his arrival. It would have been a better scenario if Bryan would have taken another Sister Abigail that night, inside the steel cage. The more longer would have been Bryan’s sufferings, the more louder would have been his explosion at the Wyatt Family.

A bad impact on the Wyatt Family’s reputation

First, WWE took weeks to show Bray telling Bryan to “follow the buzzards,” as all the hype about this Daniel Bryan-Wyatt Family feud started to increase. Then took place the unexpected when Bryan decided to “follow” the Wyatt Family, and it seemed like all the hype about the Wyatt Family is finally coming to fruition. But, then WWE blew months of storyline build-up by showing Bryan turning on the much-hyped Wyatt Family, in just two weeks.

We all know that this feud hasn’t ended yet, but watching how Wyatt Family couldn’t tame Bryan for more than two weeks raises many questions about the Wyatt Family’s capability, and this is a certain blow to the Wyatt Family’s status in the WWE. Currently, both top trios of the WWE, i.e. The Wyatt Family and The Shield, aren’t looking like the force they were last year, so what is WWE actually planning?

When should have Bryan betrayed then?

WWE should have waited until Royal Rumble to show Bryan’s betrayal, as by that time Bryan would have suffered a lot and his revenge out of four weeks of frustration would have made a much bigger impact. Entering the Royal Rumble match as a member of the Wyatt Family would have made Bryan appear under the control of Bray Wyatt, with the fans wondering what would be the climax between Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan once they are two of the few remaining men in the ring.

Ideally, Bray Wyatt would have told Bryan to leave the ring so that Bray himself could win the Rumble, but then Bryan would have went on to reject Bray’s order and would have told him that he won’t follow him anymore, and then he would have eliminated Bray. Hence, winning the match and also betraying the Wyatt Family at the same time. Bryan would have looked more unpredictable in the Royal Rumble match if he would have remained a member of the Wyatt Family because now we know that he won’t be controlled by Bray Wyatt in the match and hence reducing the chances of a mind game at Rumble.

But, Bray Wyatt, through his powerful promo on the latest episode of SmackDown has given us a hint of his darkest side yet to be seen, as he said “Daniel Bryan was given every chance to walk with the reapers, and now he will burn with the saints.” Hurt by the betrayal of Bryan he is all set to take his revenge. Time for some more mind games.
