Why Finn Balor should be next to visit the Hardy Compound

Let's preface this by saying that Finn Balor is absolutely flying right now and could be more "over" than ever before. While it took Balor a while to re-climb the mountain after having to relinquish his Universal Championship one night after becoming the inaugural champion, we seem to finally be getting there - particularly if the leader of Balor Club can win the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania.

There's only one thing "missing" - where's the Demon?

I'm aware that Balor has been on top of his game recently, so he's not had to unleash his inner demons to summon a greater strength, but when do we see Balor's dark side next?

Well, here's a thought, why not have Woken Matt Hardy push Balor to breaking point?

My dream scenario here would be with Finn Balor as Intercontinental Champion, but you could take a slip road and have Hardy cost him the match at Mania.

Either way, I think the next time we see The Demon should be thanks to Matt Hardy.

Could Matt Hardy defeat Finn Balor?

This week on Raw, we saw the first ever WWE match to feature in The Hardy Compound as Matt Hardy "deleted" Bray Wyatt to put an end to The Great War. The finale of the match saw Hardy pin Wyatt off a distraction from Senor Benjamin and Jeff Hardy (in his Brother Nero attire), then The Woken One pushed Bray Wyatt into the Lake of Reincarnation.

So, that got me thinking. What would happen if Finn Balor were to fall into the Lake of Reincarnation and emerge as the Demon?

The Demon could push Balor to his limits

While I don't think The Great War is "OVAH" in the words of The Woken One, if Wyatt could not break Hardy, maybe Finn Balor could change "Woken" to "Broken" if he re-emerged from the Lake of Reincarnation as The Demon.

Either way, I would LOVE to see more matches be set at the Hardy Compound - and if Finn Balor is involved and we can summon his inner demons, even better...
