WWE Survivor Series: WarGames is just a couple of days away. The show will take place live at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada. The go-home episode of SmackDown ahead of the much-anticipated PLE will air tonight at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET).
This week’s episode will not be live. Instead, the USA Network will air a pre-taped show. It was recorded last week at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Many fans have been wondering why this decision was made.

The primary reason is WWE's tight scheduling. Since the Survivor Series: WarGames PLE is being held in Canada this year, WWE opted to tape SmackDown in advance. This approach has been quite common for overseas PLEs in recent times. This allows the talent and production staff to rest and properly manage their travel arrangements ahead of a big event.

The Rock could make a shocking appearance at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
The OG Bloodline and CM Punk are set to face Solo Sikoa's Bloodline and Bronson Reed inside the WarGames structure at Survivor Series. There is a possibility that The Rock could make a shocking return at the end of the show.
The Final Boss recently took to Instagram to share an update. He thanked the fans for the positive response to his latest release, Moana 2. In the same video, The Rock mentioned that he was done with all his responsibilities related to the film.
This suggests that The Rock is currently free from his Hollywood obligations. This news has sparked rumors that he might be considering a WWE return, which could potentially happen at Survivor Series.
