Will Samantha Irvin ever return to WWE after quitting the company? Chances explored

Samantha Irvin shockingly announced her decision to leave WWE before this week's Monday Night RAW. While fans may not see her on the company's shows for now, it may not mean she will never make a future appearance.

Samantha Irvin first attempted to join WWE as a wrestler after being noticed by Mark Henry through her social media comments but was unsuccessful. Instead, she became a ring announcer, starting in 205 Live in April 2021 before moving to NXT. In 2022, she joined SmackDown, and a year later, she moved to RAW. She quickly became one of the most admired announcers in the company's history due to her powerful voice and unique introductions, which is why her sudden departure shocked many fans and professionals. Still, there may be a chance that she will return in the future.

Sportskeeda Wrestling's Dr. Chris Featherstone shared that Irvin left as her schedule didn't match with her fiancé Ricochet, who is currently in AEW. However, a report from the Wrestling Observer Radio stated that the former ring announcer had projects she wanted to do outside of wrestling, like music. After years of thinking about it, she decided to finally pursue it.

Based on the reports, Samantha may still return to WWE in the future, but possibly no longer in a full-time role to keep her schedule open and have more freedom with other projects. If anything, she might perform or appear at special events, like WrestleMania.

Samantha focusing on music is also no shock to those who follow her. Before joining the Stamford-based promotion, she joined American Idol and America's Got Talent, she would post song covers on her social media and is in charge of singing the US National Anthem in special WWE episodes and premium live events.

Will Samantha Irvin join AEW following her WWE departure?

After the former RAW ring announcer shared her exit, many immediately thought that she would join AEW with her fiance and use her expertise in announcing in a similar field. However, that is not the case.

As shared above from the Wrestling Observer Radio, Irvin will most likely pursue a career in music, though a possible future in AEW is something that shouldn't be ruled out. Irvin's own fiance, Ricochet, also shared that she's not going to be All Elite, making it clear that she might be pursuing non-wrestling projects soon.
