We come to the third and final part of our ‘Worst attires in the WWE‘ series. The gimmicks listed below, take the top honours with open arms. So, let us begin the countdown by featuring the top 5 worst dressed wrestlers ever to step foot in the four sided ring.

1) Mantaur.

Nothing gets worse than a man wearing a bull outfit. At the first spot, we have The Mantaur, a half man half beast character who stomped his way through WWE rings. Portraying this complicated character involved performing antics such as charging, trampling, mauling, and mooing at opponents. Even though he barely existed for just a year, he will always be remembered for that challenging outfit he donned.

2) Goldust

A character obsessed with films and the colour gold, Goldust wore a black and gold coloured jumpsuit while wearing black and gold face paint, and a platinum blonde wig over his short platinum blonde hair, with his appearance modelled after an Academy Award statue. I wonder how someone could survive wearing that suit in the summer. Credits to Dustin for pulling off something like this, though.

3) The Oz

Kevin Nash has been a man of many characters, or should I say gimmicks, throughout his wrestling career. He was called Diesel, he was called ‘big sexy’, he was called Kevin Nash, and most annoying of all, he was also called silver-haired “Oz”, a character based on the Wizard of Oz from the 1900 children’s book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. What annoyed us more than the costume was the entrance theme, that sounded more like a nursery rhyme. Whatever it may be, this outfit is as bad as it gets.

4) Warlord

There are two things the Warlord should never be proud of in life. One is his outstanding Royal Rumble record of lasting only two seconds in the ring. The other, his crazy outfit, made from what seemed like ‘a do it yourself’ black plastic kit. With a shoddy outfit, a half mask and a ‘W’ stick, he certainly did not seem very presentable. Even though he had a very short stint with the WWF, he has done enough to feature on our list.

5) Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake

beefcake

Brutus was perhaps one of the foremost character oriented wrestlers in the WWE. He played a flamboyant barber and his routine involved snipping his opponent’s hair after his match and throwing it into the air to delight the crowd. He carried all the tools necessary to aid his craft to the ring. But what he wore is a serious insult to fashion. Wearing bow ties without shirts, zebra prints, rips, ribbons and a highlighted mullet, he almost immediately walks into our list.
