Does this title switch necessarily have to happen given the fact that it actually takes away the spotlight from some deserving women? The Smackdown women's title match in addition to the Raw women's title match would've meant more opportunities for women Superstars.

However, the title switch shows that the company is only going to give the spotlight to just three women who compete for the Raw women's title. Sure, other female superstars will have something to do at WrestleMania but they won't be doing something as significant as being in a title match.

The male competitors from Raw and SmackDown have four major singles titles to fight for but the women will have just one major title. Some Smackdown women superstars expressed their regrets on Twitter.

Mandy Rose, one of the promising WrestleMania contenders for the title tweeted her disappointment in a tweet following Charlotte Flair winning the Smackdown women's title.

Mandy wasn't the only one who expressed her regret over the decision as her friend Sonya Deville and other WWE competitors like Natalya and Lana also took their disagreement to Twitter.

As of now, it looks like an unfair decision to leave a separate Smackdown women's title match from being featured on WrestleMania. Nevertheless, we'll hope that the creative team has a solid plan to make up for it.
