WrestleMania 35: 3 WWE Superstars Vince McMahon could turn heel

Will Mr.McMahon give us a massive heel turn?
Will Mr.McMahon give us a massive heel turn?

The day has finally arrived as we are just hours away from the biggest wrestling carnival of the year. Following action-packed editions of RAW and Smackdown Live last week, we are set to witness the Showcase of Immortals.

WrestleMania 35 will be held at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey. WrestleMania 29 took place in the same venue and was a memorable show, and we are expecting another mind-boggling edition of the Show of Shows. More than 15 matches are scheduled to take place this year, and it is anticipated to be a long show.

All the ten titles of Vince McMahon's billion-dollar company will be on the line while some exciting non-title matches are set to take place at Metlife Stadium. For the first time in WWE history, women will mainevent the Grandest Stage of Them All. Moreover, Triple H will put his career on the line, and Kurt Angle will have his retirement match.

It is no secret that we witness several unforeseen surprises at WrestleMania every year, and it should not be different this year. Shinsuke Nakamura shocked everyone last year when he turned heel. We might see the same scenario this year.

Here we discuss three superstars who could turn heel in New Jersey.

#3 Seth Rollins

Will we see this?
Will we see this?

Seth Rollins is not a surprising entrant here after he took a shortcut to take down Brock Lesnar last week. Lesnar humiliated Rollins after delivering six F-5s on the RAW after Royal Rumble when the latter announced to pursue the most coveted prize of the red brand. As a result, the Architect was eager to make a statement before heading to WrestleMania, and he used dirty tricks to attack the Beast Incarnate.

The rivalry between Rollins and Lesnar has been exciting as WWE has been building it for months. With the support of the WWE Universe, Rollins promised to burn down the Suplex City. Since the fans have been vocal about having a full-time champion, Vince McMahon could give the Universal Title to Rollins. However, a clean loss could hamper the stature of Lesnar and Rollins could use a shortcut to slay the Beast.

Rollins had a memorable run as a heel when he held the WWE World Title 221 days. Rollins' action on RAW suggests that he could go to any extent to get the job done at the Showcase of Immortals

#2 Finn Balor

It should be exciting
It should be exciting

Finn Balor is scheduled to face Bobby Lashley at the Metlife Stadium. Following a lengthy rivalry between the two men, it might conclude at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Finn Balor will bring the Demon King persona which has provoked interest in the WWE Universe.

Without a shadow of a doubt, a heel turn could be highly beneficial for the former Universal Champion. Since he is bringing back his alter ego at the Show of Shows, the heel turn might fit well with his dark persona. Balor had a notable run as a heel in Japan, and Vince McMahon's billion dollar company could utilize him better as a bad guy.

Balor has been in WWE for five years, but he never turned heel. Although he debuted on the main roster three years ago, he always remained a face. Therefore, he might garner plenty of attention of the WWE Universe as a heel.

Balor's WrestleMania opponent Bobby Lashley is already a heel, and the latter has Lio Rush by his side, who created obstacles for Balor. In fact, Balor lost the Intercontinental Title to Lashley on RAW after Lio distracted him. Demon Balor could be extra cautious this time, and he could use dirty tricks to get the job done in New Jersey.

#1 The New Day (Xavier Woods and Big E)

The New Day members have been the focal point of Smackdown Live in the last few weeks. Kofi Kingston climbed the top of the ladder after overcoming several obstacles, and he is set to headline WrestleMania this year. There is no denying that it is one the best storylines of WrestleMania this year.

The storyline is strikingly similar to Daniel Bryan's rise to the top in 2014. Considering Vince McMahon has been one of the top heels of the company, his participation made this feud more captivating. The fans are behind Kofi Kingston, and he is expected to cross the last hurdle after overcoming all the insurmountable obstacles in the previous few weeks.

Despite Kingston's efforts, the involvement of the other two New Day members cannot be ruled out. In fact, the two men helped Kingston obtain his dream after winning the Tag Team Gauntlet match. Vince McMahon could be planning a shocking heel turn of Xavier Woods and Big E which could lead to an exciting storyline after WrestleMania 35.

We saw a heartbreaking betrayal when the Shield broke up, and we might see the same scenario with New Day at the Show of Shows. Surprisingly, Woods and Big E are not involved in the tag team match after a stellar performance in the Tag Team Gauntlet match. It suggests that the fans could be prepared to see betrayal in New Jersey. Big E, who is a former NXT Champion, could get singles push if he turns on Kingston.
