The WWE has a plethora of young, promising talent, and the former NXT Champion, Andrade, is the most talented of all, so it's surprising that the WWE couldn't find something more significant for him to do.
Originally, the plan was for him to have one final showdown with Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania, but with so much happening on the card, that match was scrapped, and it's left El Idolo with nothing important to do on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
With Zelina Vega by his side, Andrade has all the markings of a main event heel in the WWE, and while that spot is currently occupied by Daniel Bryan on SmackDown, Andrade is just as good in every aspect.
He hasn't had anything significant to do outside of his rivalry with Rey Mysterio since joining the main roster, so a win in the battle royal could be a way to kickstart his career, but at this point, that's highly unlikely.
