#3 Samoa Joe's WrestleMania opponent

Could this happen?
Could this happen?

Samoa Joe won his first main roster championship when he won a fatal-4 way match on Smackdown Live to become the United States Champion. Joe successfully defended his title at Fastlane and will obviously have to defend it at WrestleMania. So who will his next opponent be?

One man who was rumored to challenge Joe for the United States title is none other than the 16-time world champion John Cena.

But according to the latest reports, it turns out that the rumor is, well, just a rumor, and John Cena's WrestleMania opponent will probably be Kurt Angle if the Cenation leader does make it to WrestleMania.

Kurt Angle announced on Raw that he will wrestle his last match at the Show of Shows and his last opponent will most likely be Cena himself. Angle was Cena's first opponent when the latter first arrived in WWE in 2002.

So who will Samoa Joe's opponent be? From what we have seen in the fallout episodes of Fastlane, it looks like the title will be defended in a multi-man match.

My theory is that it will be a ladder match involving Joe, R-Truth, Andrade, Rey Mysterio, and Mustafa Ali could possibly be added. It won't be the first time that a mid-card title will be defended in a ladder match at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
