#2 Seth Rollins slips down the card

It's probably now or never for Seth Rollins' prospects of pinning Brock Lesnar.

There’s no way that Seth Rollins would have asked for his real-life friend Roman Reigns to have to leave the ring to battle leukemia.

However, there is a real argument that in terms of opportunities on the card, Rollins was the greatest beneficiary of Reigns' absence. Indeed, if Reigns weren’t back, there would probably be a great deal more consensus that Rollins needs to beat Lesnar for the Universal title.

If Rollins indeed comes up short at WrestleMania, we can anticipate that like what happened to Finn Balor coming out of the Royal Rumble, The King Slayer will see his stock drop for at least a little while.

His history as a WWE Champion, Mr. Money in the Bank, and Royal Rumble winner mean that he’ll always remain someone WWE can credibly slide into a main event spot with minimal build.

Just the same, if he doesn’t win the big one at ‘Mania this year, we’ll likely as not see him back in the Intercontinental Championship mix going into summer.
