#1 Lesnar vs. Lashley

It's clear enough WWE won't push Bobby Lashley on top, but he could be a fun one-off challenger to Brock Lesnar if he retains.

Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley boast comparable size, strength, and agility, besides both having backgrounds in MMA and amateur wrestling.

As such, Lesnar vs. Lashley is one of the more obvious first time dream matches that WWE has not explored, despite having the ability to do so for the past year.

Based on Lashley’s booking, he generally hasn’t been positioned as a guy who would challenge Lesnar. However, if The Beast Incarnate is hanging around for a while, and particularly as champion, it would be a reasonable enough match to put together as a stop-gap before Lesnar revisits his issue with Roman Reigns.

Would Lesnar vs. Lashley be any good? The jury is out on that question. Particularly during their current runs, neither man is all that known putting on great matches from a purist’s perspective.

The sheer spectacle of the two athletic big men going at it could be special, though, particularly if WWE books it to be a quick, explosive encounter along the lines of Lesnar’s matches with Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 or Reigns at SummerSlam 2018.
