Asuka seems to be the RAW Women's Champion at WrestleMania due to circumstances outside her control. There was a rumor that WWE planned Lacey Evans vs. Charlotte Flair as the RAW Women's title match at WrestleMania, but the former got pregnant while the latter was removed in a slightly bizarre incident.

After Flair was quietly removed from all WrestleMania advertising, WWE chose to go with Rhea Ripley as Asuka's RAW Women's title opponent. While Ripley might be a last-minute addition to the RAW Women's title picture, it's a good WrestleMania-worthy match-up nonetheless.

Rhea Ripley is the heel in this feud after she showed her true colors on this week's episode of Monday Night RAW, but an Asuka heel turn would have made it more interesting.

Asuka was a heel last WrestleMania, but turned babyface soon after and began to dominate the RAW Women's title scene.
