Drew McIntyre will enter WrestleMania Backlash, aiming to win back the WWE Championship. McIntyre lost the title to The Miz after the latter cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at WWE Elimination Chamber.

The Miz’s title reign was cut short by Lashley, who defeated him to win his first WWE Championship. At WrestleMania 37, McIntyre was unable to defeat The All Mighty.

There is a way Strowman’s presence in the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania Backlash would work in McIntyre’s favor, as the latter could pin him to win the title held by Lashley.

The Scottish Warrior may Claymore Kick Strowman to accomplish the same.

McIntyre has had two good reigns with the WWE Championship already, and at WrestleMania Backlash, he could embark on another successful WWE title reign.

If McIntyre successfully pins Strowman at the upcoming pay-per-view, there is enough scope for him to continue the interesting rivalry with Lashley for a while. As a result, Strowman will have fulfilled his role as a third party to strengthen the legitimacy of McIntyre and Lashley's pre-existing feud.
