Ariya Daivari has returned to 205 Live

Last week, Ariya Daivari returned to 205 Live, attacking Oney Lorcan and costing Danny Burch his match in the process. Daivari Dinero was back, and he was here to send a message.

Ariya Daivari vs Jake Atlas on 205 Live

Jake Atlas took Ariya Daivari to the mat first. Daivari managed to stand up and break away by yanking Atlas's hair, but Atlas was able to regain control with a snapmare takedown.

Daivari Dinero managed to catch Atlas going in between the ropes with a nasty knee to the jaw. A running dropkick launched Atlas into the plexiglass across the floor. This was where Daivari took over, using the ring area to attack the body of his opponent.

Inside the ring, Daivari battered Atlas with several elbows. 205 Live's newest Superstar fired up, responding with uppercuts that sent Daivari into the corner. A German suplex set Daivari up for a step-up enziguri, giving Atlas a two-count.

Daivari was planted with a headlock driver but kicked out just in time. Atlas set up for his Rainbow DDT, but Daivari moved away from the ropes...right in range for a spectacular springboard blockbuster. Daivari rolled to the floor, but couldn't escape Atlas.

The 205 Live veteran was able to turn things around when he caught Atlas running into the corner, launching him headfirst into the turnbuckle with a hip toss. After a thumb to the eye, the Hammerlock Lariat turned Atlas inside out, giving Daivari his first win on 205 Live since his injury months ago.

Results: Ariya Daivari defeated Jake Atlas via pinfall on 205 Live.
