A few weeks ago, Lio Rush and Tony Nese put on one of the best bouts we'd seen in 205 Live since the Murphy/Alexander/Ali/Itami/Gulak era. With Jordan Devlin, Angel Garza, Raul Mendoza, Lorcan, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, and several others, we could very well be on the verge of the true golden age of 205 Live.

Tony Nese vs Lio Rush vs Jordan Devlin

Nese and Rush got in each other's face, annoying Devlin, who felt he was the true star. Rush dropkicked Nese to the mat, leading to a one-on-one meeting between Rush and Devlin. The Man of the Hour escaped a German suplex and avoided several strikes, catching Nese with double boots to the jaw.

Nese rushed in, hanging Rush up on the top rope neck first. The triangle moonsault gave him a pin, but Devlin broke it up. Nese avoided a clothesline and rocked Devlin with his patented combination, but the champ avoided the leg sweep, dropping Nese with a DDT.

Devlin avoided a powerslam and managed to spike Rush on Nese with a uranage slam. A standing moonsault earned him a two-count. Rush was sent to the floor so Devlin could focus on Nese.

Nese withstood an assault from the champ and rolled off the apron on the outside for a strong left hand. As he moved to the apron again, a handspring double kick knocked him to the ground. Devlin rolled in and dropped Rush with a standing Spanish Fly!!

A backdrop backbreaker and a vicious elbow drop put some serious strain on the spine of the Man of the Hour. As Devlin took Rush up, Nese rolled back in. The two men fought for the right to superplex Rush. However, they decided to go after Rush together to increase their odds of winning.

Rush fought them both off, bouncing their heads together and sending them to the mat. A high angle crossbody took them out, and Rush avoided some heavy strikes from both men. Rush sent Nese into Devlin and hit both Nese and Devlin with the Come Up Stunner!! Nese kicked out!

With Nese dazed on the mat, Rush set up for the Final Hour. The Premier Athlete rolled outside. Rush hit Nese with a suicide dive, only to be hit with an Asai moonsault from Devlin. Nese followed up with a Fosbury Flop to Devlin.

Nese drove Rush into the table, only to be hit with a crossbody from Devin. Back inside, a slingshot cutter almost earned Devlin a win. Rush yanked Devlin off of Nese, angering the Irish Ace.

Devlin brought Rush in, looking for Devlin Side. Rush blocked it with a leaping knee. Devlin responded with a headbutt. Nese rolled in, rocking Rush with a rolling uppercut and spiking Devlin wit the Sunset Driver! The champ managed to kick out just in time.

As Nese moved to the top, Devlin cut him off. Nese shook him off only to miss the 450 Splash. Rush's Final Hour was blocked by Nese's knees. The 450 hit, but Devlin rolled in to yank Nese off for the Devlin Side.

Results: Jordan Devlin defeated Tony Nese via pinfall.

As Devlin left, addressed all the top talents on 205 Live, stating that the NXT Cruiserweight Championship would be returning to the UK, and there's nothing they could do about it.
