205 Live Main Event: Oney Lorcan vs Santos Escobar w/Legado del Fantasma

Santos Escobar went after the injured arm of Oney Lorcan, hoping to make his 205 Live debut a short one. The Star Destroyer was not at 100% after a brutal war with Timothy Thatcher a few weeks ago.

Being forced to defend his weakness, Lorcan struggled to get out the gates early on. Escobar held Lorcan down on the mat with a wrist lock, sitting on his back as he did so. The Resident Brawler of 205 Live was unable to throw any good right hands or uppercuts due to the injury.

A step-up enziguri on the apron allowed Escobar to drive Lorcan's arm into the ring post. As Escobar moved to the top, Lorcan ran in for a running uppercut that connected but didn't have the same oomph as it usually does. Escobar slung Lorcan's arm into the post again.

After a long time on the mat, Lorcan was able to take the fight to Escobar with some chops and uppercuts. The running blockbuster phased him, but the NXT Cruiserweight Champion snapped Lorcan's arm with a double knee armbreaker. Following that, the Phantom Driver put Lorcan down for the count.

Results: Santos Escobar defeated Oney Lorcan via pinfall on his 205 Live debut.
