"I wanted the main-event spot, but I want it to be earned and not given as a token gesture. I didn't want it to be a historical match for the sake of making history. I wanted the people to want to see it as the main-event"

These are the words that Becky Lynch spoke in the episode about her historic first ever Women's main-event in WrestleMania against Charlotte and Ronda Rousey. One can clearly see the dedication and passion in her eyes when she revealed the moment Vince McMahon told her that they were going to be the main event this year.
She was never the chosen one like her best-friend Charlotte, but her constant determination and never give up attitude finally paid the dues as she has finally emerged as the true "alpha" female of pro-wrestling in the last one year.
If there was ever going to be a female WrestleMania main event, it had to be this year. They were the main event in every way.
