We get an early glimpse of what is to come with WWE 2k18

Various YouTube Channels have released a good number of Superstar Entrance from WWE 2k18 game footage. Among the top Superstars, there's Alexa Bliss, The Rock, HBK, and John Cena. The footage clearly shows that graphical fidelity has improved from the previous games but is far from perfect. The faces of the character models for Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks look almost nothing like they do in real life but that can be said for only a few Superstars in the game's huge roster.

The new graphics engine has improved the lighting and textures as well as some of the cloth and rope animations but Superstars with long hair still look like they have ribbons hanging from their head which can be seen in the footage below. It still doesn't look like it belongs on the shelves in 2017 but let's hope the gameplay makes up for it.

Regardless of the questionably designed character models, they did get some things right as the stadium and the ring looks great, especially the ECW ring from the Cena entrance. They've added the brand new gigantic LED screen that we have now gotten used to seeing every week. The audience now looks slightly better and in The Rock's entrance, you can even see the steel cage coming down as he enters the ring.
