One of the greatest heel stables of all time, The Nexus created quite a buzz in 2010. The group of 7 NXT rookies who together combined to form one of the most dominant groups of all time. The group was known for executing mass beatdowns and no matter who came in their path, they treated everyone equally and that is by beating them down. The group of rookies famously took down Raw in 2010 and even brawled with the entire Raw locker room on more than one occasion.

The group famously feuded with John Cena and the leader of creation was the recipient of many Nexus attacks. John assembled a team of his own to take on The Nexus at SummerSlam in 2010 and famously defeated the group. The group received appreciation worldwide for taking the WWE by storm and it is to be noted that it took a team comprised of modern-day greats like John Cena, Edge, Chris Jericho and more to take down this group of young NXT rookies.

The original Nexus combined of 7 men - Wade Barret, their leader who was joined by talented superstars like David Otunga, Justin Gabriel, Darren Young, Heath Slater, Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield. Over the years many men came in and out of the group but the initial days of this faction are the ones still being talked about. It is no secret that the stable which was so dominant together didn't fare greatly as individuals. Some enjoyed mid-card success but no one really gained the support of the WWE Universe as the main event sensation.
