5 potential main events for WWE WrestleMania 37

#2 Drew McIntyre versus Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania

Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre collided in the main event of WrestleMania 36 in an empty arena. McIntyre emerged victorious to win his first WWE Championship. It was a fast-paced, back and forth thriller that saw each man execute multiple finishing maneuvers.

However, owing to the pandemic, the match took place without a live crowd in attendance. It was the most significant moment of the Scottish Psychopath's career. An audience would have made it even better, but it wasn't meant to be. Given that McIntyre had amassed such a huge fan-following in the buildup to WrestleMania 36, he would have received a thunderous ovation upon victory. Luckily, WWE has another chance to set things right, and WrestleMania 37 provides the perfect platform.

Even though doing a standard rematch between the same competitors has proven counter-productive in the past, McIntyre and Lesnar deserve to compete against each other in front of a sold-out stadium. WWE did plan on doing a rematch at SummerSlam, but Lesnar wasn't willing to compete. This leaves the door open for a match between the two rivals at next year's WrestleMania. It may not be original, but Lesnar versus McIntyre II at WrestleMania 37 would be best for business.
