Kelly Kelly made history by becoming the first woman to be a #1 pick in a WWE Draft. She would continue to be the only woman to be the #1 draft pick for nine years, until the Draft in 2019.
The main reason that Kelly Kelly was the #1 draft pick can be attributed to the first match of that night. The first match featured Team Lay-Cool (Layla and Michelle McCool) from SmackDown up against Maryse and Eve Torres from Raw. Team Lay-Cool secured the victory, which meant SmackDown yet again won the privilege to make the #1 draft.

SmackDown opted for former WWE Women's Champion Kelly Kelly, who spent the majority of her time on the brand feuding with Lay-Cool. Her only other notable stint was being Naomi's mentor in NXT Season 3.
With 2010 still being the era of 'Divas' rather than women Superstars, Kelly Kelly struggled to make any large impact before being drafted back to RAW in 2011.
