WWE announces SmackDown main event

Newly crowned U.S. Champion and Shield member Dean Ambrose will take on The Viper Randy Orton in the main event for this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

Both these superstars will enter this match on a high after their respective victories at Extreme Rules. Ambrose defeated Kofi Kingston to win the U.S. Championship whereas Randy Orton beat the Big Show in a brutal Extreme Rules match. Orton and Big Show are at it ever since the latter walked out of their match against the Shield at Wrestlemania.

Shield members Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins also won Championship gold at Extreme Rules as they beat team Hell No for the Tag Team titles.
