WWE Axxess Session Three results - 6th April, 2018

With half of the first round matches for the four Invitational Tournaments left I've decided to cover the matches in both sessions on the 6th April, 2018 Axxess event in one article rather than split between two like the results for the sessions on the 5th April, 2018, which you can see below.

There was quite an impressive card for today's Axxess matches with popular Superstars like Peyton Royce and Candice LeRae doing battle against each other in the first round of the Women's title whilst yet to debut, but hugely talented NXT star Chris Dijak was hoping to topple Ariya Daivari to advance in the NXT North American Championship Tournament.

Pete Dunne Def. Flash Morgan Webster - Flash Morgan Webster is one of my favourite guys from my local wrestling promotion, Pro Wrestling Chaos (check them out on Powerbomb.tv) so I'm glad to see him get some shine here.

Hideo Itami Def. Wolfgang - NXT North American Invitational First Round

Peyton Royce Def. Candice LeRae - NXT Women's Invitational First Round - I can't believe they had Candice LeRae lose in the first round of this.

Mark Andrews Def. Zack Gibson - NXT UK Invitational First Round - Gibson has been rumoured to have signed with WWE but no surprises that Andrews, a current WWE talent, went over here

TM61 Def. Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch - NXT Tag Team Invitational First Round

Chris Dijak Def. Ariya Daivari - NXT North American Invitational First Round - This now sets up what many consider to be a dream indy match of Donovan Dijak Vs. Kenta inside a WWE ring in 2018.

Dakota Kai Def. Lacey Evans - NXT Women's Invitational First Round

Lince Dorado Def. Raul Mendoza - NXT UK Invitational First Round

Forgotten Sons Def. SAnitY - NXT Tag Team Invitational First Round

So, there are your results. We now have our semifinal matches for all four tournaments.

For the NXT Women's Invitational, we have Peyton Royce vs Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai vs Nikki Cross.

For the UK Tournament, we have Drew Gulak vs Mark Andrews in what is becoming somewhat of a rivalry between the two and Lince Dorado vs Lio Rush.

For the Tag-Team Tournament, we have Moustache Mountain vs Street Profits and Forgotten Sons vs TM61.

Finally, we have Chris Dijak vs Hideo Itami and Akira Tozawa vs Fabian Aichner for the North American Invitational.
