As if the fans weren't already in Daniel Bryan's corner enough, the promo package for this match was likely enough to get them even more behind the leader of the Yes Movement. Bryan came out first to a sea of cheers, followed by Cass, who has seen his popularity dip in a big way over the last 18 months - although his injury didn't exactly help.
Bryan used his pace and movement early on to try and catch Cass out, only for the seven-footer to use his power early on to gain an advantage. Daniel pulled the rope down to send Cass to the outside, before a running knee off the apron to the outside. Cass rolls back into the ring to try and recover, only for DB to hit a dropkick from the top rope. Up next the Yes Kicks came out to play, but Cass caught Bryan midair and sent him crashing down to the canvas.
Cass then went to work on Bryan's chest with a series of chops, which is a callback to Greatest Royal Rumble when Daniel's chest was destroyed by Roderick Strong. Cass began to dictate the pace of the match, with Bryan's chest swelling up early. Cass' intensity has clearly improved, with Graves noting on commentary that he's 'way too overconfident'.
Bryan worked his way out of an inverted torture lock, before going corner to corner with his high dropkicks. Alas, he was stopped in his tracks yet again, as Cass' power stopped the former WWE Champion before he could get into that next gear. The big man then kept teasing the crowd, picking Bryan up before clotheslining him back down to the canvas.
Cass went for the big boot but Bryan ducked it, before getting him to the ground for the Yes Lock. He couldn't quite lock his hands, but some vicious shots to the head from Bryan allowed him to lock the hands and eventually get the submission following a quick tap-out from Cass.

Cass then snapped and brutally attacked Bryan after the bell, sending him to the outside to a chorus of 'you tapped out' chants. Cass rolled DB back into the ring, nailing him with a mammoth big boot.
